Named after deceased Art Professor Anthony P. Winfisky, The Gallery was established by Arthur Smith of the art department along with the Student Union Art Committee. The committee was established to promote “the enhancement of the visual beauty present on the college campus.” The art committee was funded by the Student Activity Fee, under the direction of the Student Government Association.
